Auto (one long page)

Renders the page using its print stylesheet, the layout a site uses when you print it. This usually drops navigation, ads, and sidebars for a cleaner result, though some sites have no print stylesheet, in which case the page looks the same either way.
Lossy Compression
Choose how much to compress the PNG. "Lossy" gives the smallest files at the cost of image quality; "Auto" picks a level for you.
Lower values give better compression (at the cost of image quality)

A Webpage file is a saved copy of a page from the internet, stored on your computer as HTML markup. Browsers offer two ways to save one: as a complete page, which creates an HTML file plus a folder of images and stylesheets, or as a single-file archive that packs everything into one document. Saving a page lets you read it offline, keep a record of content that may later change or disappear, and archive research sources.

PNG images can have RGB or RGBA colors and support transparency, which makes them perfect for use in icons, or graphic designs. PNG also supports animations with better transparency (try our GIF to APNG). The benefits of using PNG are Plus, PNG is an open format that uses lossless compression. 

How to open a PNG file?

Generally, PNG files will open in your operating system’s default image viewer. PNG files are also easily viewable on all web browsers. If you are having trouble opening PNG files, use our PNG to JPG, PNG to WebP, or PNG to BMP converters.


Alternative programs such as GIMP or Adobe Photoshop are useful for opening and editing PNG files. PNG files are a bit larger than other file types, so exercise caution when adding them to a web page. One interesting feature of PNG files is the ability to create transparency in the image, particularly a transparent background.
