Choose how the video is resized: to a set resolution, or to a different aspect ratio, where the video's width is kept and the height is recalculated to match. Select "No change" to keep the original size.

Sets how many frames per second the output video has. Lowering it reduces file size but makes motion less smooth, and raising it above the source frame rate won't add smoothness. "No change" keeps the source frame rate.

Rotates the video clockwise by the angle you select. Choose "None" to leave it as-is.

In 2008, WTV replaced another Microsoft-proprietary format, DVR-MS.

If a copyright protects the content, then it only plays on the Windows PC that was used to record it. If a copyright does not protect the content, then it can play on other platforms.
